Unenrolled preparer Robert D. Flach can't resist a shot at CPAs in a comment about a Steven King book about a CPA serial-murderer:
Hey, CPAs have been murdering 1040s for years.
Of course in the serial killer department, we CPAs can't hold a candle to at least one unenrolled preparer.

There have been times over the past 39 tax seasons when I have considered disembering a client - but I have always been able to supress he urge.
Don't tell me you have never entertained the thought.
