This morning the Tax Update staff volunteered to help man the Salvation Army booth at the State Fair. Business was slow...
...and they were nice enough to let me go run and play.
At the booth a wi-fi connection kept tantalizingly appearing and fading, so I tracked it down.
I set up shop and prepared to blog...
Lots of stuff at the fair. Especially if you like spas....
You can also start on the path to be a loose-meat mogul:
Real roofers mind their makeup:
But really, the state fair is about the food. I'm hungry...
...so I'm gone for lunch. Then it's back to the farm (ok the office, technically). Thanks to the nice Iowa Telecom folks for the wi-fi access. When we're really up-to-date here, the wi-fi will cover the whole fairgrounds. Maybe next year?
See you!

Uh-oh- does that mean there's a warrant on me?
I knew you were planning a visit to the fair Friday. I thought there might be a harmonic geeky convergence, but no such luck.
You made great use of your time there - readers, check out www.coptalk.blogspot.com for some outstanding State Fair photography.
