Resting on laurels?

Tax.com, the "LexisNexis Top Tax Law Blog for 2011," hasn't put up a new post since December 15.

Meanwhile, also-ran TaxProf Blog has run, by my unofficial count, 87 posts since December 15. Even the Tax Update has run 26 posts, not counting this one, since Tax.com's seven bloggers last spoke. Sure, there may be a trade-off between quantity and quality, but even infinite quality doesn't help when the quantity is zero.
