I stumbled across "The Accounting Onion" this morning. I was hoping it would be a CPA version of the real thing, with articles covering inventory valuation issues at Homeless Depot. Sadly, it's just accounting stuff.

Actually, I do write about accounting issues at companies. For example, see my posts about GE, GM, Merrill, Societe Generale, and others. I like to write about inventory, so if there is an interesting issue as to how Home Depot does it, shoot me an email with a summary of your concerns. If I decide to write it up, I'll give you a plug.
I also write about other "stuff" like global convergence of accounting standards, recent prononcements and SEC financial reporting issues.
Thanks for your interest in The Accounting Onion.
