Somebody forgot about the "give unto Caesar" rule:
CAMDEN — A Roman Catholic priest pleaded guilty Tuesday to making false statements on an income tax return, leading to more than $30,000 in unpaid taxes, federal officials reported.
The Rev. Daniel Sullivan, 56, of Tuckerton entered his plea before U.S. District Judge Joseph H. Rodriguez. Sentencing is scheduled for March 28, according to officials with the U.S. Attorney's Office Criminal Division in Camden.
Well, if he has taken a vow of poverty, the IRS is ready to help.
