In all of the excitement of the new year, you just possibly might have missed the launch of our website design. Not to worry! Our site, www.rothcpa.com, is a party that never ends.
The changes are designed to make our site more attractive and easier to use. A few notes:
The site design theme was inspired by the black and white photographs you may have seen in our office. The design celebrates Des Moines and central Iowa's business history and traditions. In other words, the pictures are supposed to look old. We have great respect for those who built Iowa, and this site is our little way of honoring them. The site design was executed by the fine folks at Sekimori Design.
The Links Page is one of our most popular features. We have added new links that you may find useful. The page has long linked to Applicable Federal Interest Rates, federal and Iowa tax rates, and local property tax information. We have added links to banking regulators and organizations and to major business publications. We have also added links to regional and national newspapers. And, for those of you who surf the net recreationally at home - nobody we know surfs recreationally at work - we have added links to college and Iowa high school sports. For all of you highbrows, we have also added links to the Central Iowa cultural and music scene. If you don't see what you want when the links page opens, just scroll down.
The Tax Updates are still archived for your convenience and reference, but in a different format. Once the updates are over about one month old, they automatically go into the archives pages; these can be accessed from just above the first entry in the Tax Updates Page by clicking the words "Tax Updates Archive."
We hope you find the new look pleasant and functional. We would love to hear your comments and suggestions.
